Lacuna, Rose Wagner Theater, Salt Lake City, UT; Norda Theater, UVU, Orem, UT; Ragan Theater, UVU, Orem, UT. Collaborated with faculty and Contemporary Dance Ensemble students from UVU Dance department and Art & Visual Communications in a project focusing on water as ritual, environmental concern, and visual motif. Beginning with a retreat to the Capitol Reef Field Station, I worked with Angela Banchero-Kelleher (UVU Dance), Joel Bradford (UVU Science – cultural anthropologist), and Linda C. Smith (Repertory Dance Theater, SLC) in the exploration of this subject from the vantage point of these various disciplines. I then designed and constructed with the aid of AVC students a sculpture that became an integral part of the dance performance piece. The work is now being submitted for possible inclusion in regional and national dance competitions. 2010 – 2013. Research paper presented in Germany, 2011.
